Senior 313A Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Systems Mechanic G1 Gas Technician

CMC Quality Assurance Inc. is currently seeking a highly experienced Senior 313A Mechanic with a G1 Gas Certificate to join our team. We specialize in providing top-tier mechanical services for the Commercial, Industrial, and High-Rise sectors.

We aren’t looking for just anyone; we are looking for a technical leader. If you have a decade of experience under your belt and take pride in troubleshooting complex systems that stump others, we want to talk to you.

The Role
As a Senior Technician, you will be the face of quality for our premium clients. You will handle the installation, maintenance, and service of complex HVAC/R systems, including large tonnage chillers, boilers, and make-up air units.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Diagnosing and repairing complex mechanical and electrical faults in commercial and industrial HVAC/R systems.
  • Executing preventative maintenance programs to the highest industry standards.
  • Acting as a technical lead and mentor to junior apprentices.
  • Liaising with property managers and clients to explain technical issues and solutions clearly.
  • Ensuring full compliance with safety protocols and building codes.

 

Required Qualifications

  • Trade Certification: Must hold a valid 313A Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Systems Mechanic license.
  • Gas Certification: Must hold a current G1 Gas Technician certificate.
  • Experience: Minimum 10+ years of field experience in the Commercial and Industrial sectors.
  • ODP: Valid ODP (Ozone Depletion Prevention) card.
  • Drivers License: Valid “G” Driver’s License with a clean abstract.
  • Skills: Strong electrical troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Membership: Must be a member of UA Local 787
